Januar 2026 – März 2026

Fullstack Entwicklungs-Co-Lead bei Fiberfone. Als 2-er Team haben wir interne Services wie einen Geolocation Datenbankservice und interne Dashboards mit Shopsystem und Headless CMS gebaut. Der Fokus lag auf durchdachter Architektur und schneller Entwicklungszeit durch LLM/AI assistiertes Coding bei gleichzeitig Anspruch auf gute Qualität und Skalierbarkeit. Innerhalb von nur 3 Wochen konnten wir ein großes Adresssystem in einer eigenen Datenbank inklusive Administrationstools umsetzen, für das sonst gerne mal mehrere Monate Entwicklungszeit investiert werden können. Nebenher optimierten wir diversen Bestandscode und konnten die Frontend Performance teilweise von 45s auf 0.5s Response-Time durch ausgeklügelte Datenbankoptimierungen reduzieren.

Januar 2025 – Juli 2025

Accessibility Lead & Frontend Engineer bei Jedox. Ich habe zunächst für und mit dem gesamten Frontend Team eine gemeinsame Component Library entwickelt und solide Entwicklungs-Standards entwickelt. Parallel dazu war ich Engineering Lead für das Thema Barrierefreiheit, bei dem in einem knappen Zeitraum (2,5 Monate) eine solide Lösung gefunden und Wissen vermittelt werden musste, wie barrierefreie Lösungen aussehen können und wie diese durch das QA Team getestet werden können. Hier waren alle Frontend-Entwickler, das PM-Team sowie das QA-Team involviert und bekamen interaktive Workshops und Coachings von mir, sodass wir innerhalb von drei Monaten eine barrierefreie, standard-konforme Lösung für eine hochkomplexe Webanwendung erreichen konnten.

April 2023 – Dezember 2024

Scrum Master / Effectiveness Coach bei Testo. Hier half ich dem Data Engineering – AI Team ihre Arbeitsworkflows zu verbessern und so effektiver an ihren KI und API Produkten arbeiten zu können.

November 2022 – März 2023

Frontend Architekt und Frontend Entwickler (React, TypeScript) bei Testo. Ich entwickelte mit einem Kollegen einen Plan, die Standards und die Architektur für eine neue Web App, die das globale Kundenportal der Firma darstellt und verschiedenste Produkte und APIs verbinden muss. Das Projekt musste somit alte und neueste Technologien kombinieren und unsere Entscheidungen für das deutlich größere Entwicklungsteam gut funktionieren.

August 2022 – Februar 2023

Satellite Transformation Projekt bei Siedle: Eine bestehende Agenturlösung sollte auf Grund von massiven Performance Problemen durch eine moderne, robuste und schnelle Codebase erneuert werden. Die Anwendung ist hochkomplex (Daten) und wird von tausenden Mitarbeitern im Alltag benutzt, wodurch sich eine besondere Qualitätsanforderung ergab. Hierfür arbeitete ich mit dem internen Mitarbeiter zusammen und wir erreichten eine Geschwindigkeitsverbesserung von knapp 1000%(!) bei gleichzeitig massiv verbesserter Usability und höherer Stabilität.

Mai 2017 – Dezember 2021

Co-founder und Fullstack-Entwickler von Colloq, einer Event Management Plattform und Knowledge Hub. Als 3-köpfiges Team haben wir die gesamte Social-Plattform von Grund auf geschrieben und vermarktet. Leider konnten wir nicht rechtzeitig genügend Nutzer anziehen, sodass wir nach 3 Jahren den Schlussstrich zogen.

January 2019 – March 2020

Engineering & Delivery Management for LaterPay. I helped two teams building the right things that are valuable for the customers, prioritized the work and coached people these skills so they can do it on their own. As Engineering Manager I made sure that people are well, can work in a safe work environment and at the same time evolve their career and learn new skills. This included hiring people and helping the HR department in their decisions.

December 2014 - March 2020

Front-End Consultancy, Development for LaterPay. I refactored a lot of legacy code and built new, fast and scalable codebases with modern Toolchains in a set of three teams. This included coaching Junior developers and regularly auditing other codebases for performance, scalability, accessibility problems.

January 2018 – May 2019

Front-end architecture and development for Adverma agency. I helped building two websites that serve millions of customers and data with a lean tech stack in the background. This included a lot of hand-crafted code and smart decisions to solve certain problems that come with such projects. I was responsible for the frontend part and the overall technical customer experience.

November 2016 – May 2017

Front-End Development for Greenpeace International. In a small team we’ve done the architecture of the international set of websites for the organisation. This meant a styleguide and custom tech framework on a Wordpress Multi-Site basis, using Scrum as work methodology. I was responsible for the frontend guidelines and codebase.

January 2014 - October 2014

Front-End Developer at Vaillant Group. I was hired for building a global website system that scales and lasts within a small team. Quickly, we grew to 45 people and I together with a colleague was responsible for the frontend stack and coordination of the project as well as supervising the two of four Scrum teams. In parallel, I build many of the frontend components, test framework and infrastructure with my team. The big part of the project was finished within one year, a perfect example of well working teams and a well organized project.

Front-End Development and Tablet-Applications for Hubert Burda Media / FOCUS Magazin Verlag, using brand new web technologies that most people did not know about much. As ambassador of Adobe and expert for other big tech companies working on web standards, I was one of the first using the new HTML5 and CSS3 features in real life.

November 2007 - December 2011: Founder of a 2 person design agency

We built Corporate Designs, websites and did consultancy work for a variety of people and companies successfully. After four years, my business partner switched jobs and this business was split up and transformed into my sole freelance business in 2011.
